ARTIST RESIDENCY IN MOTHERHOOD

Inspired by Lenka Clayton, who founded the original Artist Residency in Motherhood, my friend and colleague Emma Jaster has started an international collective of performing artists- who are also mothers.  For one year, we are giving each other an assignment every week to be posted under the hashtag #mamaisamaker.  Please follow the work of these wonderful artists on instagram.

Exciting projects on the horizon: 1. The film Slow Machine @slowmachinefilm is going to the International film festival in Rotterdam (@iffr). Started shooting this when Zada was 3 months old. Four years later it’s done. A slow machine indeed.
